Designing the wild and cultivating the city, Fritz Haeg
Los Angeles designer, gardener and artist Fritz Haeg will present his recent work including the series of Edible Estate gardens – highly visible domestic urban productive pleasure gardens planted from Istanbul to Austin, London to Los Angeles – and the urban wildlife architecture of Animal Estates. Both projects suggest the possibility for modest homemade actions that make our urban environments more healthy, social, productive, participatory, and fun.
