Blink to See Clearly (2011)
software and object design
Life is constantly speeding up. Relationships are digitizing. We are losing most contact with our surroundings because of how we (don’t) perceive them. In order to see clearly, we must blink. New ways of seeing that adapt to our modern living habits are required: new ways that highlight what we don’t have time to see. This apparatus allows the user to view the world through digital filters that translate, highlight or morph reality. It is not designed to change our world but change how we see it. The program includes real-time filters that: highlight movement by deleting static objects, slow down reality, trace trajectories, mimic sight disorders such as tunnel vision, and more.
