Cache-Cache (2010)
sawing , laser-cutting
Cache-Cache is a contemporary headpiece inspired by the armours of the 17th century. It is designed to improve the comfort of the citizen in the city, as a protection against the outside world. The crowd can be perceived as aggressive, and Cache-Cache enables the user to hide, disappear and forget the danger within the horde. The lasercut acrylic eyeshades reproduce the oriental Mashrabiya pattern, bringing privacy and intimacy to the wearer, who can see through the ornaments without being seen.
