We know how important financial support is to the development of your idea and bringing it to the real world, and how many interesting projects end up in a drawer without it. We want to change this. That is why we are happy to announce that Kickstarter - a global funding platform for creative projects - has officially become a Lodz Design Festival 2020 Partner!
Kickstarter is a global funding platform for creative projects – everything from film, games, and music to art, design, and technology. Some of those projects come from established creators like Bjarke Ingels or influential companies like Lomography. But most come from amazing creative people you probably haven’t heard of – from design students to basement startups. Kickstarter is full of ambitious, innovative, and imaginative projects that are brought to life through the direct support of others.
Heather Corcoran is Kickstarter's Director of Design and Technology. She works closely with hardware startups, product designers and makers of all kinds using Kickstarter to bring new products to life.
